Vitamin C is an essential nutrient for humans. It acts as an antioxidant by protecting the body against oxidative stress. In fact the only way to get higher doses currently available is through direct IV injections, a costly and time consuming option. This daily dose is typically 40x times stronger then a typical 1000mg Vitamin C taken in traditional pill form.
